Credence has an upcoming need for an Operations Intelligence Support Analyst to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A & AS) and deliverables in support of the 9AF (AFCENT) Intelligence Directorate (9AF (AFCENT)/A2) Directorate mission in the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR) and Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), SC.

  • Serve as 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 24/7 focal point for dissemination of warning intelligence (significant activity) through monitoring of multi-domain internet relay chat, organizational email boxes, web based "Common Operational Picture", and/or intelligence message dissemination tools.
  • Maintain an electronic log of significant events and/or items of interest to 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 leadership.
  • Provide verbal briefings to the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2, and to other key leadership as directed by the A2, of significant overnight events and/or items of interest.
  • Report significant activity during non-duty hours to the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Responsible Officer (RO) and/or AFCENT A2 Leadership as identified in the Senior Leadership Notification Checklist.
  • Maintain regular contact with the 9AF (AFCENT) Command Operations Center in order to provide consistent warning across intelligence and operational staffs.
  • Perform basic research as directed by 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Analysis Division Chief in support of Intelligence production.
  • Retrieve electronic briefings and documents from national Intelligence organizations, COCOMs, deployed and local organizations for inclusion in the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Watch electronic file structure. Upload briefing products to 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Leadership e-readers Monday-Friday and/or as requested.
  • Serve as 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 24/7 focal point for research, compilation, and dissemination of A2 intelligence read file/read book.
  • Serve as 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 24/7 focal point for the receiving, logging, distribution, and status tracking of Intelligence Requests for Information (RFIs)/Requests for Assistance (RFAs).
  • Perform duties as a data transfer for the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Director, once provided with prerequisite 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 approved Air Force data transfer agent training.
  • Monitor the AFCENT/A2 Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) security feed that provides visibility of the SCIF entrances, unless the SCIF is properly secured IAW Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of SCI Facilities.
  • Maintain currency with new technologies and tradecraft for conducting Intelligence Watch duties as directed; may include attending familiarization sessions separately from watch duties when on-site training is provided.
  • Serve as 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 24/7 focal point for after-duty hours SCIF entry, 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 SCIF alarms, and emergency notifications of key personnel.

Requirements

  • Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
  • Minimum of six (6) years of cumulative experience performing operations intelligence analyses.
  • Three (3) years' experience performing operations intelligence analyses at an AOC/Joint AOC or fixed fighter wing squadron/battalion applying critical thought to message traffic, intelligence reports, and other incoming communications in order to discern the significance of reporting and events, prioritize actionable information, and effectively disseminate communications throughout the directorate in a timely manner.
  • Five (5) years' experience with Microsoft Office Tools Suite, internet relay chat, and analytical research techniques (Boolean queries).
  • Open Source (OS) 1 training and Introduction to Middle East Cultural Study (Computer Based Training Course) required. If not completed previously, must be completed three months after employment start. Cost will be covered by AFCENT.
  • Three years' experience supporting USCENTCOM Missions/AOR, within the last ten years.
  • Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
  • Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate information.
