Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers' most pressing national security requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for network infrastructure and integrated systems.
  • Perform hands-on testing and validation of network equipment, protocols, and architectures in lab and production environments.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and validate Cisco networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Utilize network analysis tools such as Wireshark to capture, analyze, and document network traffic for performance optimization and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to assess network performance requirements and validate system integration.
  • Support all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle for network-enabled products from design through deployment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of experience in network testing, validation, or network engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies including routing, switching, and network security.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.) and network architecture principles.
  • Proven Linux/Unix system administration skills with command-line proficiency.
  • Extensive experience using network diagnostic and analysis tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, iperf, and similar utilities.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills with demonstrated ability to create clear, detailed documentation including test procedures, configuration guides, and technical reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, agile development environments.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) or Cisco Certified Expert (CCE) certification (CCIE highly desired).
  • Software development or scripting experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience testing network systems in classified or DoD environments.
  • Understanding of network security principles, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Experience with requirements management and test tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, JAMA etc.)
