Organization: Infrastructure Data Reporting Metrics, Infrastructure Services

Position Summary

Infrastructure Data, Reporting & Metrics (IDRM) serves as the Infrastructure Services (IS) organization's centralized team for trusted data, reporting, metrics, and analytics. IDRM partners with infrastructure leaders, platform teams, and operational stakeholders to deliver consistent reporting, improve data quality, automate manual data collection processes, and provide actionable insights that support business and operational decision-making.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as a senior-level reporting and analytics professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions across Infrastructure Services. This individual will work closely with data owners, operational leaders, and technical teams to transform complex infrastructure data into meaningful insights through Power BI and related analytics tools.

The ideal candidate combines advanced Power BI expertise with strong analytical skills, an understanding of operational or technology-focused environments, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesReporting & Analytics
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions supporting the Infrastructure Services organization and processes.
  • Deliver executive-level, operational, asset, risk, and performance reporting.
  • Build scalable data models and semantic layers that support consistent reporting across multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop KPI and metric reporting that tells the Infrastructure Services value story.
  • Transform large, complex data sets into meaningful and actionable insights.
Business Engagement
  • Partner with infrastructure leaders and operational teams to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.
  • Consult with stakeholders to define reporting solutions, performance metrics, and visualization approaches.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership audiences.
Data Quality & Governance Support
  • Assist with identifying data quality issues and inconsistencies across reporting sources.
  • Partner with Data Architecture and Data Governance resources to improve data accuracy and reporting standards.
  • Advocate for trusted data sources and reporting best practices.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
  • Reduce manual reporting processes through automation and process improvements.
  • Support integration of new data sources into reporting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and scalability.
Team & Organizational Support
  • Contribute to the Infrastructure Services Reporting Center of Excellence.
  • Assist with reporting standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor other analysts on reporting best practices and Power BI capabilities.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge and skills)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analysis.
  • 3+ years of advanced Power BI development experience.
  • Expertise in:
    • Power BI
    • DAX
    • Power Query & QueryM language
    • Data Modeling
    • SQL
    • Excel
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets from multiple sources.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.

  • Experience presenting analytics and reporting results to leadership audiences.
  • Proficiency in applying AI techniques for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven data integration and data cleansing tools to automate and optimize data management tasks.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) for unstructured data analysis and information extraction.
