Job Description The Customer Intelligence Head is a key strategic leader responsible for
elevating the organization's understanding of its customers,
competitors, and the future market landscape. This role drives
prescriptive, data-led strategy by leading the CI team to integrate big
data and AI tools to deliver proactive, personalized insights. The Head
champions futures thinking focused on customer intelligence to
anticipate disruptive trends. Ultimately, this role is positioned as a
high-impact, internal consulting team to Senior Leaders and Business
Units, acting as the function's experts to ensure all critical business
decisions are grounded in deep, commercially relevant customer
evidence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Insight & Consulting
Lead the Customer Intelligence team in serving as a high-impact
internal consulting function for Senior Leaders and Business Units
(BUs). The Head ensures the team acts as the trusted experts on
customer, market, and competitive dynamics, providing
data-backed solutions for complex, high-stakes business
challenges
Develop and implement methodologies for futures thinking/
foresight focused on customer behavior, competitive actions, and
emerging market trends to inform long-range strategic planning.
Oversee the development of clear, narrative-driven intelligence
reports and presentations for Senior Leaders, translating complex
analysis into actionable strategy.
2. Advance Analytics and Technology
Define the roadmap for leveraging big data and AI tools to scale
the delivery of proactive, personalized, and predictive customer
insights.
Establish enterprise-wide standards for customer data quality,
integration, and security across all relevant platforms to ensure a
"single source of truth" for customer intelligence.
Champion the adoption of advanced analytical techniques,
including predictive modeling, segmentation, and machine
learning-driven research,
3. Team & Stakeholder Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of customer
intelligence and market research leads and experts, cultivating a
culture of business acumen, analytical rigor, and impact
orientation.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with leaders in
Technology, Marketing, Product, and Sales to ensure intelligence
is seamlessly integrated into business processes and
decision-making.
Manage the budget for intelligence tools, external research
providers, and vendor relationships,

REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience:
Proven success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver
measurable financial impact.
Extensive experience advising C-suite and senior leaders on
high-stakes business challenges using customer insights.
Strong ability to translate data and analysis into actionable
strategies adopted by leadership.
Level of Knowledge:
Expert in statistical modeling, segmentation, and advanced
quantitative methods.
Strong grasp of AI/ML applications in customer insights.
Deep expertise in futures thinking and strategic planning.
Exceptional skill in turning complex data into clear, story-driven
insights that shape business direction.
Education:
Preferably heavy research courses - Social sciences - Sociology,
Psychology, Anthropology, Political
