About the Role
JM Test Systems is hiring a SeniorStrategy Analyst to serve as a thought partner to our executive and commercialteams. This role owns the questions that shape where the business goes next -where our growth is coming from, which customers and service lines deserve moreinvestment, what our markets and competitors are telling us, and what we shoulddo differently as a result.
We're looking for someone whoisn't satisfied producing a report. You'll take ambiguous business questions,structure them, get to the honest answer, form a point of view, and help drivethe decision. You'll work cross-functionally on questions that shapego-to-market strategy, capital allocation, and strategic priorities, and you'llpresent your work directly to senior leadership.
What You'll Do
Strategic Analysis & Decision Support- Structure open-ended business questions into analyses that produce a clearrecommendation. Own the "so what," not just the data.
Commercial Growth Strategy - Identify andquantify revenue opportunities across accounts, segments, geographies, andservice lines. Partner with Sales leadership to shape go-to-market priorities.
Sales, Marketing & Pipeline Analytics- Own the analytics behind commercial performance, automating recurringreporting so your time goes toward analysis that changes decisions.
Forecasting & Predictive Insight -Build forecasting models to flag at-risk accounts, high-potential prospects,and leading indicators.
Executive Communication - Turn complexanalysis into clear narratives for leadership, building the recurring materialsthe business runs on.
Market & Competitive Intelligence -Maintain an outside-in view of our markets, competitors, and customer demandsignals.
Corporate Development Support - Partnerwith leadership to evaluate commercial performance of newly acquired companiesand identify growth opportunities.
Analytics Infrastructure & AI -Partner with Data Engineering to ensure clean, reliable data, and use AI/LLMtooling to build self-service tools for Sales and Marketing.
Pricing & Profitability Analysis -Analyze profitability by customer, service line, and contract to inform pricingand mix decisions.
What You Bring
• Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering,Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 2+years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, privateequity, corporate development, FP&A, or commercial/growth analytics
• Atrack record of structured problem solving - taking an ambiguous question andproducing an answer that changed a decision or delivered a measurable result
• Strongcommercial instinct and genuine curiosity about how a business operates andgrows
• Comfortwith ambiguity and a bias toward a defensible answer quickly, rather than aperfect one eventually
• Proficiencyin SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint; fluency with Claude or other LLM tools; R,Python, or BI platform experience a plus
• Experiencewith CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and familiarity with sales/marketingautomation tools (Apollo.io, Clay, Klaviyo)
• Financialfluency - comfortable with P&L mechanics, margin analysis, and basicvaluation concepts
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to seniorleadership
• Strongproject management skills and the ability to run multiple workstreams withlimited direction
