Role: Sr. MuleSoft Developer

Location: Local to Herndon, VA preferred but will accept remote candidates. If local to Herndon, resource must be onsite 4 days per week.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Candidates must be able to obtain MBI clearance

Job Description:
Works on client’s key operations and business solutions. Analyzes, designs, and develops client's information systems and program specifications; involved in creation of specification/requirements, and maintenance/ design/build /test phases of systems and applications. May also be asked to provide technical support and analysis of infrastructure projects and production environment; develop upgrade/improvement recommendation; monitor, plan, and measure impact of new products and services. Codes, test and debugs applications and programs. May participate in the application design of systems, including use of analytical techniques. Develops program specifications and detail design documents. Assists in testing, training, and preparation of operations.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience, including application design, development, and unit testing.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 required.
  • Proven experience integrating SAP Concur and enterprise systems.
  • Strong expertise in Mule ESB, SOA principles, and RESTful API development using JSON and XML.
  • Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, API lifecycle management, and governance.
  • Proficient in Java, middleware integration, and relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including design specifications and interface contracts, while adhering to MuleSoft best practices, guardrails, and API Delivery Model standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with AWS Cloud Components ( Cloud Watch , SQS , S3 , Dynamo DB).
  • Experience with Mulesoft Any point Platform  Admin and monitoring
