A top Fortune 50 financial institution is seeking an API Developer for a contract role. The position is remote, requiring on-site interviews in Vienna, VA; Winchester, VA; or Pensacola, FL.

About the Opportunity:

  • Hybrid or Remote: Remote, with on-site interview requirement
  • Shift: Standard business hours
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

The API Developer will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying Java-based APIs in a microservices architecture
  • Building RESTful web services from scratch to support scalable enterprise applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define API integrations
  • Debugging, testing, and troubleshooting applications to ensure performance and reliability
  • Maintaining code quality through best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Java development
