Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical & Systems Integration Engineer to lead the design, integration, and commissioning of complex control and electrical systems. This role is critical in delivering reliable, secure, and high-performance solutions across mission-critical environments, including data centers and industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, hands-on field experience, and the ability to lead projects from concept through execution
Key Responsibilities

Core Technical Responsibilities

  • Design, install, and commission low-voltage control systems 
  • Integrate multi-vendor hardware and software platforms 
  • Develop control logic, automation sequences, and system workflows 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and control system issues 
  • Configure and program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and BMS platforms 
  • Design networked control systems including IP addressing, VLANs, routing, and segmentation 
  • Implement communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and others 
  • Apply knowledge of low-voltage power distribution systems (24VDC, 48VDC, 120VAC) 
Data Center & Critical Infrastructure

  • Integrate HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, and PDUs 
  • Configure monitoring, alarming, and alerting systems 
  • Develop redundancy strategies and failover logic 
  • Perform root-cause analysis for system failures 
Networking & IT/OT Convergence

  • Design secure, segmented control system networks 
  • Configure switches, routers, and firewalls 
  • Implement secure remote access solutions

Specialized Systems Integration

  • Integrate fire alarm and life-safety systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical systems, controls, or systems integration 
  • Strong hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, BMS, and HMI platforms 
  • Experience working in data centers, critical infrastructure, or industrial environments 
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls) 
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes (NEC, NFPA, OSHA) 
  • Proven ability to lead projects and work cross-functionally 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-vendor system integration 
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in OT environments 
  • Prior commissioning or field engineering experience 
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications (a plus)
