Job description

We're searching for a Senior Desktop Application Integration Analyst, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide guidance and support to the Platform Engineering team, initiate process and performance improvements, and proactively plan for future technologies and more efficient processes that improve the computing environment and meet customer needs. You'll advise team members, analysts, and management on technical and procedural matters while developing strong partnerships and communication channels with internal teams, partners, and vendors.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Meets customer needs and works with appropriate technical teams and management to deliver customer-oriented solutions 
    Takes a lead role within the Platform Engineering team by initiating proactive planning and process improvement 
    Develops metrics that track and monitor success and failures to improve team performance 
    Collaborates within various sub-teams of the Enterprise Systems Services team and with other information services departments through teams and committees 
    Demonstrates new approaches and ideas and introduces new technologies and more efficient processes to increase productivity 
    Mentors team members on technical and procedural matters and develops strong communication channels 
    Acts as project manager for complex operational projects within the information services function 
    Creates data and workflow diagrams for new or existing systems for technical review 
    Ensures accuracy of data and operational standards by reviewing and documenting procedures for accuracy and operational efficiency, recommending changes as required, and analyzing complex system problems to prevent reoccurrence 
    Provides guidance to the team for day-to-day work and operations as needed 
    Creates internal operating policies, processes, and procedures consistent with IT best 
    Performs other special projects as assigned
Skills & Requirements
    H.S. Diploma or GED required
    Technical diploma in technical or vocational education in a computer-related field preferred
    7 years' experience in desktop support, virtual desktops, application scripting, software packaging and/or distribution required
Highly preferred:
    Desktop management experience
    Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM
    Microsoft Intune 
   System Center Configuration Manager
    * Experience managing enterprise Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11 lifecycle management.
    * Operating System Deployment (OSD)
    * Software applications
    * Software Updates
    * Windows Feature Updates
    * Driver management
    * Compliance settings and Configuration Baselines
    * Experience administering Distribution Points, Management Points, Software Update Points (SUP), Boundary Groups, and Client Settings.
    * Strong knowledge of Windows Update, WSUS, and Microsoft servicing models.
    * Experience developing PowerShell scripts to automate endpoint administration and reporting.
