Job description

Title: Inside Sales Representative

Location: U.S.-based; remote

Role Overview

The Inside Sales Representative will own sales opportunities from the point they are assigned in Salesforce through order placement, fulfillment, and device activation. This is a high-volume, full-cycle transactional B2B sales role within a wireless carrier/distributor ecosystem.

This is not a lead qualification or appointment-setting position. The representative will be responsible for managing opportunities through the complete sales and activation process while maintaining CRM accuracy and meeting defined service-level expectations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Contact the appropriate value-added reseller (VAR) or business contact based on established distributor rules of engagement.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through order placement and fulfillment.
  • Process and manage credit applications, financing approvals, and related qualification activities.
  • Ensure orders are entered accurately and followed through to completion.
  • Coordinate device provisioning and activation and confirm successful account activation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity status, and activity documentation.
  • Meet defined SLAs for response, follow-up, and issue resolution.
  • Manage a high volume of opportunities while maintaining accuracy, service quality, and productivity.
  • Work effectively in a developing program environment as distributor volumes increase.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales, channel sales, or full-cycle transactional B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing sales opportunities end-to-end, from initial engagement through order and fulfillment.
  • Experience with order management, provisioning, fulfillment, or activation as part of the sales process.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, including opportunity management, activity tracking, and CRM/pipeline hygiene.
  • Experience handling credit applications, financing approvals, or similar qualification processes.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume sales environment with defined activity targets and SLAs.
  • Strong communication, service, organizational, and follow-through skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in telecommunications, wireless, mobility, or device/IoT activation.
  • Experience working with distributors, value-added resellers (VARs), or channel partners.
  • Familiarity with major technology or wireless distribution organizations.
  • Experience selling to SMB or mid-market B2B organizations.
  • Experience working within a carrier, distributor, or reseller ecosystem and understanding channel rules of engagement.
  • Previous experience supporting major wireless carrier channels.
