Job description

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, who will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the critical infrastructure that supports a datacenter environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the operation and optimization of servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure seamless performance and reliability.
  • You will be tasked with configuring and managing Cisco switches and firewalls, as well as working with HPE and Dell servers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
  • Additionally, you will handle advanced storage systems, including Dell, HPE, and PureStorage Network Attached Storage, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Your expertise will also be required to manage copper and fiber cabling, ensuring efficient connectivity across the infrastructure.
In this role, you will leverage your experience in power and cooling capacity management to estimate and optimize resource utilization within the datacenter. You will create detailed diagrams using tools like Visio or DrawIO to map server racks, physical connections, and network layouts, providing clear documentation for current and future infrastructure planning. A strong background in datacenter operations, including hands-on experience with hardware and network configurations, will be essential for success. Familiarity with industry best practices for cabling, power distribution, and cooling systems will further enhance your ability to excel in this position.
