Job description

Senior Network Engineer - Army TENCAP | TS/SCI | Ft. Belvoir, VA

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the development and integration of advanced ISR technologies within the Army TENCAP portfolio. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize network architectures that connect national, commercial, and tactical intelligence capabilities to operational Army systems.

This position is ideal for a seasoned network engineering leader who thrives in complex mission environments and wants to directly influence the modernization of Army ISR networks.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as the Senior Network Engineer and technical authority for network design, integration, and performance.
  • Maintain and evolve network architecture, technical baselines, and endtoend network performance.
  • Collaborate with systems, network, and cybersecurity engineers to ensure integrated solutions meet mission requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure mission needs and objectives are fully addressed.
  • Support the coordination of network requirements, hardware/software design, and full verification and validation activities.
  • Design and implement network infrastructure supporting ISR data flows, crossdomain solutions, and integration with existing intelligence platforms.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engineering reports supporting the TENCAP mission.
  • Provide expert recommendations on information system design, integration and test, performance analysis, administration, security, and policy.

What You'll Need

  • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree with 15-20 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with ISR systems, satellite communications, or intelligence networks (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (preferred).
  • Seniorlevel expertise in networking technologies such as Cisco, Microsoft/Linux environments, VPN technologies, encryption/crypto devices, and enterprisegrade routing/switching (specific qualifications TBD).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior technical authority, network engineering leader, and trusted advisor in complex, missioncritical environments.
