Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading consulting firm that helps clients modernize their IT infrastructure. They are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to leverage cloud capabilities, collaborate with cloud architects, and design cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
• Use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support clients in modernizing their IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Azure to design, define, develop, test, or debug cloud solution components.
• Work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps using products like Kubernetes.
• Partner with stakeholders and team to deliver the right technical solutions for clients' problems.
• Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or create new ones from scratch.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4+ years of experience building, operating, and maintaining compliant cloud computing environments in Microsoft Azure
• 4+ years of experience deploying and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure services, including Azure Virtual Network, Virtual Private Clouds, Azure Firewall, Security Groups and Azure RBAC, or Identity and Access Management
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and deploying infrastructure automation, including CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform
• 3+ years of experience with serverless infrastructure concepts
• Experience with DoD Information Assurance (IA) policies and practices for Linux and Windows, including STIGs
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
Preferred:
• Experience with the DoD Cloud Compute Security Requirements Guide (CC-SRG)
• Experience with the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG)
• Experience in the DoD accreditation process with IATT, SNAP, BCAP, or ATO
• Experience with both Linux, including RedHat, and Microsoft Windows Server
• Experience deploying PaaS services for application deployment
• Experience deploying container services through a DevSecOps pipeline
• CISSP Certification
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate Certification
