Job description

We are hiring a Sr. Graphic Designer for a top retail client in Columbus, Ohio! The Senior Graphic Designer will be a key player in the concept and creation of visually compelling marketing that supports critical brand projects reinventing the customer experience. Key responsibilities include inspiration gathering, conceptual design ideation, digital and physical presentation-building and assisting in design production. They will collaborate closely with creative leads, copywriters, and visual merchandisers to bring the vision to life.
  • Pay Rate: $46.42/hour
  • 90 day contract (opportunity to extend)

Responsibilities:
  • Conceptual design ideation, focusing on creating multiple design options/solutions
  • Inspiration gathering/mood board creation to help influence marketing approach
  • Designing marketing for alt distribuiton, in-store retail experience and reactionary business requests
  • Digital and physical presentation building in preparation for key leadership reviews
  • Assisting in design production tasks and art release to ensure seamless marketing execution

Required Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), PowerPoint, and other design tools
  • Experience with AI tools to assist in building content
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and branding principles
  • Demonstrated ability to present multiple solutions, each with their own purpose
  • Experience in retail marketing/trends a plus
  • Environmental design experience a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
