Job description

Senior Graphic Designer

Position Type: Admin/Professional

Department: Public Relations

Full or Part Time: Full Time

Pay Grade: MN10

Summary

The Senior Graphic Designer collaborates with peers of the Office of Marketing and Communications, campus constituents and vendors to ensure all digital and print communications reflect NEOMED’s brand. In doing so, the Senior Graphic Designer directs and provides services for the development and implementation of marketing activities for multiple offerings, enabling programs, services, events and/or products to meet organizational objectives. Services include consultation for all creative services, art direction, graphic design, and print production management.

Principal Functional Responsibilities
  • Serve as main University designer for design of all campus materials.
  • Provide art and creative direction or consultation from concept to completion of brand identities, publications, collateral materials and digital platforms.
  • Supervise, coordinate and ensure the on-time and orderly flow of all creative/production from job initiation to its final delivery.
  • Maintain University brand standards and ensure accurate representation in all marketing materials intended for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage all print production RFQs, bids, selection, assignments and vendor relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
  • Minimum Five years’ experience in graphic design for print and digital, both agency and client-side experience desirable.
  • Advanced computer and software skills.
  • Proficient in MAC, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications

Health care or higher education experience.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
