Job description

What We Need

CORPAY is currently looking to hire a Director of Fulfillment within our Card Production division. This position falls under our Stored Value line of business and is located in Louisville, KY. In this role, the Director of Fulfillment is responsible for leading inventory management and fulfillment operations for a gift card company across B2C direct-to-consumer orders and B2B client, corporate, bulk, and partner programs, as well as retail fulfillment activity supported through multiple 3PL partners. This role owns inventory availability, inventory accuracy, replenishment planning, order flow, physical card production coordination, personalization, packaging, shipment execution, vendor performance, quality control, and service-level delivery across a multi-node fulfillment network. The Director ensures that the right card products, denominations, carriers, packaging, and fulfillment materials are available in the right quantities at the right time to support consumer demand, client commitments, seasonal peaks, promotional campaigns, and large-scale B2B programs, retail replenishment cycles, customer pushes, and seasonal deployment events. This role also serves as the primary operational point of accountability for warehouse readiness, launch execution, partner governance, issue escalation, and service recovery when fulfillment performance is at risk.

You will report directly to the SVP, Client Development & Global Operations and regularly collaborate with the team and other departments.

How We Work

As a Director, you will be expected to work in an office  environment. CORPAY will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in our Louisville, KY office.
  • Company-issued equipment
  • Formal, hands-on training if applicable

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Owning inventory management fulfillment for physical gift card products, including customer pushes and auto replenishment across multiple 3PL locations.
  • Leading B2C fulfillment operations for direct-to-consumer orders, including single-card and multi-card orders, personalized messaging, branded packaging, shipment preparation, tracking, returns, replacements, and customer service escalations, including peak-season demand support and exception handling.
  • Leading B2B fulfillment operations for corporate clients, incentive programs, loyalty programs, promotional campaigns, bulk gift card orders, partner distributions, and recurring replenishment programs, including launch readiness, implementation support, customer-specific fulfillment requirements, and large-scale rollout coordination.
  • Managing inventory controls for stored-value products, including receiving, put-away, secure storage, cycle counting, reconciliation, chain-of-custody documentation, variance investigation, and loss prevention across multiple locations, including inventory transfers, reserve strategies, aged inventory mitigation, and emergency replenishment decisions.
  • Ensuring accurate order processing, picking, packing, card activation coordination, shipment verification, and delivery confirmation for both consumer orders and client-specific B2B requirements while aligning upstream production schedules, warehouse execution, and committed ship windows.
  • Building differentiated fulfillment workflows for B2C speed and customer experience, B2B accuracy and customization, bulk order handling, kitting, client-branded packaging, and special project execution, and continuously refine those workflows to improve scalability, labor efficiency, controls, and service reliability across multiple fulfillment models and partners.
  • Partnering with Client Development, Account Management, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Compliance, Product, and third-party partners to align inventory and fulfillment plans with forecasted demand, client commitments, and launch timelines.
  • Managing relationships with card manufacturers, personalization vendors, print partners, carriers, 3PLs, technology providers, distribution partners, and warehouse service providers, including onboarding, SLA definition, KPI scorecards, QBRs, escalations, corrective actions, and transitions between partners where necessary to improve service, cost, capacity, and scalability.
  • Establishing and monitoring KPIs for inventory accuracy, stockout rate, aged inventory, on-time performance, order accuracy, B2C cycle time, B2B SLA attainment, on-time shipment, cost per order, carrier performance, rework rate, and shrink/loss rate, as well as forecast variance, partner performance, warehouse stability, and open operational risk items.
  • Leading peak-season, campaign, and client launch readiness planning, including inventory buys, labor planning, vendor capacity, shipping cutoffs, contingency plans, and escalation protocols across B2C, B2B, and retail demand, including forecast development, push timing, production coordination, warehouse readiness, and capacity alignment during high-risk periods.
  • Driving continuous improvement through process mapping, root-cause analysis, automation, standard operating procedures, reporting dashboards, and quality controls, including workflow redesign, systems enhancements, and fulfillment process improvements that improve service reliability, reduce defects, and increase scalability.
  • Ensuring fulfillment processes meet security, audit, fraud prevention, data privacy, PCI-related, and stored-value handling requirements across systems, physical inventory, warehouse partners, shipment verification, and exception handling.
  • Building, coaching, and developing a fulfillment and inventory team with clear performance expectations, operating rhythms, cross-training, accountability, and succession planning, while also providing leadership across external partners and indirect teams supporting the broader fulfillment network.
  • Owning stabilization and recovery efforts when operational disruption occurs, including warehouse startup issues, implementation failures, production misses, carrier issues, inventory imbalances, systems issues, or partner underperformance.
  • Serving as the senior escalation point for fulfillment, inventory, warehouse, production, and service issues that place customer commitments, client launches, or peak performance at risk.
  • Overseeing retail fulfillment support, including customer push schedules, replenishment timing, inventory deployment, seasonal build planning, and coordination across production, warehouse, and customer timelines.
  • Coordinating open project execution across fulfillment and warehouse operations, ensuring launches, transitions, system changes, and warehouse initiatives are completed without avoidable service disruption.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, card production, print production, e-commerce operations, or a related operational environment, including experience leading multi-site, 3PL-managed fulfillment networks and complex vendor ecosystems.
  • 5+ years of experience leading managers, supervisors, inventory teams, warehouse teams, or cross-functional operational teams, including indirect leadership across vendors, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success managing both B2C direct-to-consumer fulfillment and B2B bulk, client, corporate, or partner fulfillment programs, as well as retail replenishment programs, customer pushes, and seasonal deployment activity.
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, replenishment, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, safety stock, SKU management, order management systems, warehouse management systems, carrier management, and operational reporting, along with warehouse capacity planning, upstream production dependencies, order routing, launch readiness, and multi-node fulfillment network design.
  • Experience managing high-volume, time-sensitive, accuracy-critical fulfillment operations with defined service-level agreements in environments requiring rapid decision-making, continuous reprioritization, and service recovery.
  • Experience managing external vendors, 3PLs, carriers, production partners, print partners, technology providers, or warehouse service providers, including maintaining vendor scorecards, formal business reviews, escalation management, and corrective action planning.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate forecasts, order trends, and inventory data into actionable operating plans and connect upstream production constraints, warehouse capacity, client demand, and downstream shipping performance into clear operating decisions.
  • Ability to operate effectively under deadline pressure, especially during holiday peaks, promotional campaigns, client launches, and large B2B order cycles, including the ability to stabilize underperforming operations, manage warehouse transitions, and lead recovery when new processes, new partners, or new sites fail to perform as expected.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in gift cards, stored value, prepaid products, payments, incentives, loyalty, retail distribution, consumer e-commerce, or financial services operations.
  • Knowledge of physical card production, card activation, personalization, secure storage, chain-of-custody controls, bulk card handling, B2C mailing workflows, and digital gift card delivery coordination.
  • Experience supporting corporate reward, incentive, employee recognition, loyalty, reseller, marketplace, retail, or partner-based gift card fulfillment programs.
  • Familiarity with compliance considerations related to stored-value products, data security, privacy, fraud prevention, audit controls, and shipment security.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or similar process improvement or supply chain certification.
  • Experience implementing inventory automation, replenishment logic, WMS/OMS integrations, operational dashboards, carrier optimization, or fulfillment workflow improvements, including ERP, OMS, WMS, or proprietary platform enhancements such as real-time visibility, order routing, replenishment automation, and implementation scalability.
  • Inventory accuracy maintained at target levels across card stock, denominations, branded materials, packaging, and fulfillment supplies.
  • Stockouts, aged inventory, shrink, write-offs, and emergency replenishment costs reduced through disciplined forecasting and replenishment management.
  • B2C orders fulfilled accurately, quickly, and consistently with customer-facing service expectations.
  • B2B bulk, client, corporate, and partner orders fulfilled according to client-specific requirements, customization needs, and service-level agreements.
  • On-time performance and order accuracy meet or exceed operating targets across B2C consumer orders and B2B client, corporate, bulk, and partner fulfillment programs.
  • Fulfillment costs managed to budget while improving productivity, automation, quality, and capacity utilization.
  • Peak-season, campaign, and large-order readiness plans executed without material inventory or service disruption.
  • Operational controls, audit requirements, secure storage procedures, card handling processes, and shipment verification standards consistently followed.
  • 3PL providers perform against defined service, quality, and capacity expectations with measurable accountability and corrective action when required.
  • Warehouse launches, transitions, and recovery efforts are executed without loss of control over inventory, service-level performance, or client commitments.
  • Retail pushes, B2C and B2B replenishment cycles, and seasonal forecast plans are executed with clear ownership, cross-functional alignment, and minimal service disruption.
  • Operational risks are identified early, escalated appropriately, and acted on before they create broader service failure, financial impact, or client-facing breakdown.
  • Open projects, implementation work, and warehouse initiatives are tracked to completion with clear ownership and minimal dependency gaps.
