Job Summary:
This role focuses on ensuring the safety of automotive systems through rigorous adherence to functional safety standards. You will lead the development of safety requirements, conduct hazard analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into the entire product lifecycle. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and decompose functional safety system requirements.
  • Review and approve safety analyses and documentation.
  • Contribute to the definition of vehicle architecture from a safety perspective.
  • Lead the creation of functional safety processes and tools.
  • Oversee program readiness for functional safety compliance.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Extensive experience with ISO 26262 standards and deliverables.
  • Proven experience in performing SOTIF analysis.
  • Ability to articulate technical safety issues and solutions. Domain / Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive industry, specifically with OEM or Tier 1 suppliers, is required.
