Job Summary:
The Swift Group is a privately held, mission-driven and employee-focused services and solutions company headquartered in Reston, VA. Swift is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to maintain and enhance existing software applications, working closely with the lead developer on design, implementation, and integration.
Responsibilities:
• You will work with the lead developer to maintain and enhance the existing software application.
• You will help with design and then implement all levels of the application: data layer, application code, and user interface.
• You will work with the lead developer to design, code, deliver APIs, and integrate with other software systems and databases.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 - 7 years’ experience with Python with development of an application in Flask, Django, FastAPI; including developing associated testing (unit and integration)
• Beginner to intermediate experience (2 – 3 years) with SQL, familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORM technologies
• 6 months – 3 years’ experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
• 6 months – 3 years’ experience with React, Angular, or Vue
• 1 - 3 years’ experience developing on AWS. Must be familiar with building and deploying containers
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
