Job Summary:
Damco Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join their agile team. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and implementing applications while analyzing organizational needs to develop effective systems.
Responsibilities:
• The candidate will work as part of an agile team using existing and emerging technology platforms to design, code, test, implement, and document technically detailed applications.
• S/he writes new complex systems, designs and codes programs, and creates test transactions.
• S/he also analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement application systems.
• Provides application software development services or technical support in situations of moderate complexity.
• May also be responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation.
• Has thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Conducts reviews of the test Plan and test Data.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10 years of experience
• Ability to work as part of an agile team using existing and emerging technology platforms
• Design, code, test, implement, and document technically detailed applications
• Write new complex systems, design and code programs, and create test transactions
• Analyze organizational needs and goals to develop and implement application systems
• Provide application software development services or technical support in situations of moderate complexity
• Responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation
• Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Conduct reviews of the test Plan and test Data
• Functional knowledge, relevant skills, and experience in the financial industry and accounting working in agile teams
• Tech Stack: Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JSON, Angular, REST APIs, Python, Oracle (or relational DB), DevOps processes (CI/CD tools, Git, etc), messaging frameworks like Kafka or IBM MQ, and microservices architecture
Preferred:
• Experience with products such as Eagle, InvestOne, and Milestone
• Exposure to AI -data extraction and loading for AI applications
