Job description

At Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC, we deliver innovative, practical, and dependable engineering solutions across infrastructure, structural systems, forensic evaluations, and foundation support. With decades of experience, our expertise spans a wide range of markets, including industrial, oil and gas, municipal, commercial, utility, and residential sectors. We provide turnkey solutions and expert consulting for complex geotechnical and structural challenges.
Our projects are diverse and impactful, ranging from deep foundation systems for energy facilities to structural assessments for buildings. We are proud to serve clients nationwide and are now licensed in nearly all 50 states.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Staff Engineer and a Project Engineer to join our growing team in Loveland, CO. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of engineering projects - from residential foundation repairs and custom retaining walls to power transmission infrastructure, bridge and culvert design, structure lifting, and slope stabilization.
You'll gain real-world experience across commercial, industrial, municipal, and energy sectors, working on everything from pedestrian bridges, light pole bases, and metal building foundations to forensic evaluation of damaged structures and deep foundation systems for substations and pipelines. No two projects are the same - and that's what makes this role both challenging and rewarding!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural and foundation systems
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections to support active projects
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and field personnel
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, specifications, and standards
  • Support load testing and design evaluations for a variety of engineered systems

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's Degree a plus)
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • 0-4+ years of engineering experience (more is great too)
  • Field experience with construction projects is a plus
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and structural analysis tools (e.g., RISA 3D)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel for site visits and project support up to 15% of the time

Why Join Magnum Geo-Solutions?
  • Exposure to a wide variety of challenging and rewarding projects, locally and nationally. Projects often include design of deep foundations, concrete infrastructure, light wood framing, industrial steel design, and water conveyance structures
  • In person mentorship from experienced engineering professionals
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Opportunities and encouragement for professional growth and licensing support
  • Small office atmosphere where you are a key contributor to the team

If you're passionate about engineering and eager to contribute to impactful projects, we'd love to hear from you!
