Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Technical Writer/Editor.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentation.
  • Translates business specifications into user documentation.
  • Plans, writes, and maintains systems documentation.
  • Supports system user documentation efforts, including development of change notices, online help screens and generation of interactive computer based training modules.
  • Writes, edits, proofreads, and copyedits a variety of documents.
  • Plans and prepares documents for dissemination.
  • Manages the documentation library.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and deliver technical solutions independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 4 years of experience and with configuration control experience.
  • Clearance: Public Trust
  • Citizenship: US Citizen by birth or naturalization

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $118,000 annually.
