Job description

DELIVERY DRIVER:  Customer Service Clerk  responsible for home and institutional deliveries originating in the Flower Shop, Bakery, Grocery, and/or other areas of the Store.  This person's primary duties include coordinating the delivery schedule with the Department or Section Heads, organizing his/her trips, loading the van, making the deliveries in a safe and responsible manner, record keeping, and servicing and cleaning the delivery vehicle.  Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.

  1. Availability:  Must be available to be scheduled 20-30hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
  2. Previous Work Experience:  Demonstrated strong, customer service orientation required.
  3. Physical Demands:  Driving, walking, bending, carrying, repetitive lifting to 25#; occasional lifting to 50# or more.

Other Work Considerations:  21-years of age; valid Ohio driver's license and clean driver's record last three years; mature; availability; able to work well with minimal supervision; flexibility; reliability; dependability.
