Centennial Technologies Inc. is looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a strong Federal Finance background to help one of our federal clients. The individual should have proven extensive knowledge and success with employing project management tools and techniques to include activity schedules, staffing requirements, deliverable schedules, and milestone schedules for assigned reports and projects.

Requirements:
  • Manage Federal programs/projects - involving federal financial statements, internal controls, FMFIA and Data Act.
  • Manage client initiatives, including resource management, executive readouts, project plans, activity management, and gateway communication.
  • Support OMB A 123 Assessments, Internal Controls, and Data Management.
  • Sets priorities, meets deadlines, and makes decisions affecting the project
  • Develop and implement financial compliance processes to monitor the organization's reliability compliance performance.
  • Work collaboratively and acts in a lead role as a subject matter expert, within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
  • Develops short and long-range plans to prioritize issues, develop program objectives, obtain needed resources, and meet reliability compliance program objectives.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge serving in a leadership role (i.e., project lead, project manager, applying core project management processes as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Support outreach activities to its internal and external stakeholders for standard and ad hoc meetings and provide well written briefing materials.
  • Create proposals and lead business development activities, including a proven record of success leveraging executive presence and negotiation skills to develop compelling value-added business cases and/or win proposal bids

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant Field
  • PMP certification is a must
  • CGFM certification is highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of federal financial support experience, including leading, supporting and managing internal controls programs (A-123 assessments).
  • 4+ Experience managing federal programs/projects involving process improvement, system implementation, and Data Act implementations
  • Strong expertise in FMFIA, IPERIA, and AFR Reporting
  • Identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection
  • Leading teams to generate a vision, establishing direction and motivating members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and actively promoting continuous improvement and innovation
  • Exceptional work ethic, work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines, use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
  • Utilizing project management software and technologies, such as Microsoft Project with attention to details
  • Familiarity with Federal Oracle Financials is required
  • CPA certification is desired but not required.
