Job Description Our client is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst in Atlanta, GA. This role sits within the FP&A team and serves as the go-to financial expert for a specific business unit, partnering closely with departments across the company. The Senior Financial Analyst will lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while building financial models and executive-level reporting for senior leadership.

Retail industry experience is a plus, and this role offers real visibility with business unit owners through monthly trend presentations. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans for a designated business unit Analyze actual performance against budget, monitor KPI trends, and build financial models, ROI, and pro forma analyses Present monthly financial trends and forecast updates to business unit owners and senior leadership Use SQL and BI tools to source data, build dashboards, and support ad-hoc analysis and special projects Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred 3+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within the retail industry Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, plus experience with Power BI, SQL, and ERP systems (SAP, or Oracle ideal) Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance audiences.
