Job Summary
The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role includes proactive troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, performing preventative maintenance, managing parts inventory, and identifying and correcting safety issues related to company- and customer-owned equipment. The technician will work directly with customers across multiple systems and locations and will use strong technical knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, diesel, and other technical equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to support equipment reliability.
  • Identify and correct safety issues involving company- and customer-owned equipment.
  • Manage parts inventory and ensure required materials are available to support field service activities.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment condition, service needs, and recommended solutions.
  • Maintain company property, tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing service activities and priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues and meet service commitments.
  • Demonstrate accountability, innovation, and empowerment while supporting a high-impact culture.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years of technical work experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience.
  • Electrical, mechanical, diesel, and/or fusion experience depending on business unit.
  • Previous field service, industrial maintenance, or related technical experience required.
  • Industry-specific licenses or certifications may be preferred.
  • Ability to obtain required customer site clearances, including TWIC, DISA, or other site-specific requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.

Travel and Driving Requirements
  • Travel to customer sites is required and may include multiple systems, locations, and customers.
  • This position requires operating a company vehicle. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets company standards.
  • Candidates must successfully complete all required driver, DOT, medical, and background screening requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain company driving privileges and any required CDL Class A or B with applicable endorsements.

Compensation & Benefits
