We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Tampa, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).
Job Duties: NTT is seeking a Data Scientist / ML engineer with 7+ years of experience. This person should be comfortable with the following:
- Driving new data insights to uncover business opportunities & revenue streams.
- Have a firm understanding of statistics and data visualization for communication.
- Has an understanding of business growth areas & how to utilize important data. - Be responsible for identifying new analytic trends/ data needs and repeatable analytic solutions.
- Able to work with key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and create analytic models that answer impactful business questions
- Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets using various supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms such as regression, classification or clustering ML approaches where applicable.
- Be experienced in Data Wrangling and Dynamic Model Tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working on projects leveraging your expertise in data science, artificial-intelligence and machine learning
• Assist in breaking down complex business problems, developing solutions, and delivering with a high degree of focus on client satisfaction.
• Conduct market research, develop a point-of-view and communicate effectively back to clients and stakeholders.
• Bring innovative thinking, resourcefulness leveraging best practices and creativity to achieve successful client outcomes.
• Establish relationships with our clients at the appropriate levels, gain an understanding of the project work and problems encountered.
• Work with data sets of varying degrees of size and complexity including both structured and unstructured data.
• Piping and processing massive data-streams in distributed computing environments.
• Implement batch and real-time model scoring.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Apply business knowledge to analyze data, develop reports and solve problems • Perform ad hoc analyses of data depending on business needs.
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with data stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience supporting data science projects in a consulting environment.
• 7+ year(s) of experience participating in projects that focused on one or more of the following areas:
o Predictive Analytics
o Data Design
o Statistics
o AI/ML
o ML Ops
• 7+ years of experience using Python and/or R to analyze disparate datasets.
Preferred Skills:
• Master's degree preferred.
• Exercises sound judgment with minimal support from practice executives through structured problem identification, mitigation, and resolution.
• You are a team player that is a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a commitment to success.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree preferred
• 1+ year of Gen AI / LLM hands on development experience
• Ability to drive individual hands on development plus oversee more junior developers / engineers
Minimum Skills Required:
• 7+ years of experience supporting data science projects in a consulting environment.
