Job description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
BS in Electrical Engineering
Minimum Years of Experience:
1-2 years experience
Support the Senior Engineer in analyzing Programmable Electronic Devices (PEDs) and cyber assets within Transmission Substations in accordance with NERC CIP Standards.
Assist with review and analysis of Substation single line drawings, Grid Control Center drawings, and network diagrams to identify and classify Bulk Electric System (BES) Cyber Assets.
Support identification and documentation of Electronic Security Perimeters (ESPs) under the direction of the Senior Engineer.
Contribute to Engineering Evaluation workbooks and supporting documentation for NERC CIP asset determinations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support NERC CIP compliance tasks, evidence development, and engineering assessments.
Shadow Senior Engineer activities to gain hands on exposure to NERC CIP compliance, regulatory interpretation, and audit support, building readiness to assume increased responsibility over time.
