Job description

Eaton is hiring a Senior Engineer to help shape the future of power by leading the design and production of advanced three‑phase transformers in Waukesha, WI!

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide technical support for the development, design, manufacture, testing, and application of new and existing products.
  • Design and develop industrial equipment (ideally electro‑mechanical type products) with 3D CAD models and utilize 3D CAD fit analysis tools.
  • Achieve production cost reductions through knowledge of best‑in‑class control box assembly processes and core and coil assembly processes.
  • Create custom product designs that meet customer requirements.
  • Support manufacturing related to assembly, specifications, and functional performance.
Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of experience with 3D CAD.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for immigration sponsorship or support for this position (no CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H‑1B, O‑1, E‑3, TN, I‑485, etc.).
  • All candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Waukesha, WI. No relocation is being offered for this role. Active‑Duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical restriction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Design and development of industrial equipment in the electro‑mechanical field.
  • EPlan or AutoCAD experience for designing schematic and controls layout.
  • Core and coil design experience.
  • Electronics/controls experience.
