Job description

Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Software Engineer serves as the primary infrastructure and cloud architect, administering, patching, and configuring the underlying environments for SharePoint and Drupal platforms. This role handles cloud migrations, secure firewall management, and directly supports federal cybersecurity compliance audits.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • More than 5 years of experience supporting FISMA security assessment and authorization activities to secure an Authorization to Operate (ATO).

Critical Tool Stack & Technologies:

Must possess more than 5 years of experience with:

    • SharePoint Infrastructure: Architecting, administering, patching, and configuring SharePoint on-premises (2016/2019/SE) and SharePoint Online (SPO).
    • Cloud Architecture (Azure): Supporting Drupal (8/9/10/11) in Azure; managing servers, creating resource groups, provisioning VMs, and configuring Network Security Groups (NSGs).
    • Automation Platform: Configuring and upgrading Nintex K2 automation.

Additional Infrastructure Competencies:

    • Cloud Operations: Migrating SharePoint sites from on-premises to SharePoint Online; configuring and managing Power Gateway.
    • Network & Perimeter Security: Configuring and managing F5 Silverline Web Application Firewall (WAF) Proxy, SSL settings, Threat Profiles, and troubleshooting complex network connectivity issues.
