ResolveSoft, Inc. is seeking an experienced Middle Tier Lead Developer to support government client. This is a Key Personnel role responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting the middle tier of a complex enterprise claims processing system. The Middle Tier Lead will mentor team members, perform code reviews, and work directly with technical teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot middle tier application code for a large-scale federal claims processing system.
• Lead and mentor other middle-tier developers; conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC for new development, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Work with the development team, partner teams, and business teams to resolve application server and database configuration issues.
• Design, develop, test, and implement code solutions in Java/J2EE/EJB environments.
• Provide technical solutions to middle tier application issues encountered by new and existing applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DBAs, and production support staff to ensure cohesive system operation.
• Follow approved SDLC methodologies; produce design documents, test results, and technical documentation.
• Support Agile sprint execution and release management activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 7–10 years of IT development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE/EJB (server-side / middle tier) development.
• 3+ years of experience with SDLC, OO Design/Development, Client-Server Architecture, and Web Architecture.
• 1+ year of experience with DB2 database design and development.
• Claims processing system experience (required).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and PIV card (NACI).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with federal compensation or workers' compensation claims systems (FECA, DEEOIC, or DLHWC).
• Familiarity with IBM WebSphere (JDK 8) and IBM DB2/AIX environments.
• Experience in a federal agency IT environment.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
SECURITY / BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION
Public Trust (NACI). Must be eligible to obtain a federal PIV badge. U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
