Position Title: Document Control Specialist

About the Positions

Wereseeking Document Control Specialists to support large, heavy-civil infrastructure projects in highways, roads, and bridges, transit (bus and rail), aviation (international airports), and water sectors delivered through both traditional and alternative methods. These roles focus on managing the flow, accuracy, and organization of project documentation across all project phases.

Responsibilities

may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain and organize project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility.
  • Implement document control procedures in alignment with stakeholder standards and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and internal policies.
  • Track and manage document revisions, approvals, and distribution across project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper document flow.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholdersregardingdocument updates.
  • Provide training and guidance on document control processes to project personnel.
  • Utilizeenterprisedocument management systemsto store and retrieve project records.
  • Ensure proper indexing and metadata tagging for efficient document retrieval.
  • Support audits and inspections bymaintainingorganized and accessible records.
  • Generate reports on document status, approvals, and outstanding actions.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure document integrity and compliance with project requirements.
  • Assistin preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and project closeout.
  • When serving as the sole document control resource on a project,mayalso support meeting agenda preparation, minutes, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-ondocument control or similarexperience on large (>$500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with a variety of construction and project-related documents, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.
  • Familiarity with ISO-based document control standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Proficiencywith industry standardenterprisedocument control systemsand version control(e.g., SharePoint,e-Builder, Procore, Aconex,Asite, etc.).
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or project management.
  • Experience working in document control on complex, heavy-civil highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), aviation (international airports) and water projects.
  • Experience in multiple phases of the project lifecycle (e.g., predesign, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction).
  • Knowledge and understanding of,and experience with,ISO 9001:2015 document control standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other dashboard KPI reporting software.
Compensation Details

Expected Salary:$90k-$120k/year ($45-$57/hour). Lusterprovidesthe salary range that the company in good faith believes it might offer for this position based on the successful candidates level of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, geographic location, etc. Luster reserves the right toultimately paymore or less than the posted range depending on circumstances not related to any status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
