This is an onsite leadership position at Granite City Works (GCW) located in Granite City, IL. reporting to the Senior Director NAFR FP&A and Technology. This individual will serve as the business partner to the GCW General Manager and lead a team of FP&A analysts supporting various plant operations. This role will drive organizational impact by analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, driving cost-improvement initiatives, strengthening business partnerships, and delivering financial insights that enable strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible and challenging position that engages with stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise.
Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a high-performing team of plant-facing FP&A analysts
- Serve as the primary business partner to the GCW General Manager
- Drive accountability and value-creating action through robust variance analysis, leveraging a deep understanding of the manufacturing process and business drivers
- Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly updates
- Drive process improvements that result in standardization, efficiencies, and effectiveness
- Develop business cases and financial support for capital appropriations and large-scale investments
- Develop analysis and presentations to support plant and/or executive leadership including proactive and insightful analysis and commentary on results
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A or other data/analysis intense fields preferred
- Experience developing and leading teams
- Well-developed financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream, Power BI, or Python is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and result driven action-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to travel
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- FPAC certification is a plus
