Job description

A Leadership Role for a Builder and CultureShaper

The Senior Director of Marketing is more than a strategist — they are a catalyst. In this role, you will help build a marketing organization defined by energy, genuine curiosity, collaboration, and a deep passion for improving healthcare quality. You will play a central role in shaping both our brand and our culture, helping create a team and environment powered by enthusiasm, shared purpose, and the belief that our work truly matters.

We are looking for someone who brings optimism, intellectual curiosity, and excitement about possibility. Someone who thrives in a missiondriven environment, elevates others through collaboration, and inspires through both vision and action. This is a visible leadership position where the way you lead matters as much as what you deliver.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Communication Officer, you will serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Team while partnering with colleagues across the organization — and external creative and media partners — to drive bold brand impact, meaningful growth, and a culture of shared purpose.

Operational Leadership with Energy and Intent

  • Lead with enthusiasm, initiative, and optimism — modeling the culture of creativity, curiosity, and missiondriven passion we are building.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs, partnering with business and client groups to create measurement plans that fuel learning and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver insightful performance analysis, A/B testing, ROI reporting, and databacked recommendations that help the organization move forward with confidence.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness, track budgets, and provide accurate forecasts while maintaining a solutionsoriented, collaborative approach.
  • Lead product launches and marketing plans with clarity, creative thinking, and disciplined execution.

Drive Organizational Growth and Marketing Impact

  • Oversee marketing strategy and execution for major enterprise growth initiatives, embracing ambitious targets with agility, imagination, and a growth mindset.
  • Build a multichannel, performancedriven marketing approach that elevates brand health and expands reach, rooted in curiosity and continuous learning.
  • Use data and analytics to uncover audience insights, drivers of choice, and opportunities for deeper engagement — translating those insights in an inspiring, accessible way.
  • Collaborate across departments to align marketing with enterprise priorities and drive measurable outcomes.

Lead and Develop a HighPerforming, HighEnergy Team

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a Marketing team that thrives on collaboration, optimism, inclusion, and shared purpose.
  • Foster a culture where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are welcomed, and people feel energized by the mission and their ability to impact it.
  • Model a client-focused, service-oriented mindset grounded in accountability, creativity, and results.
  • Ability to develop and communicate plans, strategies, and performance metrics with transparency and clarity.
  • Build and sustain a high-performing team culture where individuals feel supported, inspired, and excited to explore new possibilities.

Innovate Through Data, Creativity, and Technology

  • Apply strategic insight and creativity to build integrated campaigns that reflect our values and elevate awareness, trust, and engagement.
  • Bring an explorer’s mindset — testing new channels, formats, and marketing technologies to expand reach, efficiency, and impact.
  • Leverage marketing automation, CRM, SEO/SEM, and emerging AI tools to strengthen performance and deepen audience connection.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and intelligent risktaking, encouraging new ideas that help the organization evolve and grow.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Strategy preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years of progressive responsibility in brand management, marketing strategy, or communications leadership.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns with measurable business results.
  • Healthcare marketing experience is a plus, but a passion for missiondriven work is essential.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams and external agencies.
  • Expertise in marketing analytics, data-driven decision making, and marketing technology platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership skills.
  • A leadership style defined by enthusiasm, curiosity, optimism, empathy, and a belief in the power of shared purpose.
