Sr. Director of Enrollment Operations
Pay Range: $100,000– $112,000 per year

The Senior Director of Enrollment Operations is responsible for leading the operational strategy and execution of enrollment services across undergraduate, graduate, and international student populations. This role oversees the core infrastructure, technology systems, and processing operations that support the full enrollment lifecycle—from prospect to matriculation. The Senior Director will drive process improvements, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure data-driven decision-making to meet institutional enrollment goals.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in higher education administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in admissions or enrollment operations
    • Demonstrated success in managing teams and improving enrollment-related business processes.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Slate Technolotions), student information systems, and data management tools.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong strategic planning, leadership, and organizational abilities.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.
    • Proficiency in enrollment analytics, market research, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Enrollment Leadership & Strategy
    • Serve as a senior leader in the Enrollment Management division, developing and executing an operational roadmap aligned with institutional goals.
    • Supervise and mentor a multi-functional team, including admissions operations, CRM administration, application processing, and transfer credit evaluation.
    • Act as the primary liaison between Enrollment Operations and institutional stakeholders, including academic units, student services, and IT.
  • Operational Management
    • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures for admissions processing, data entry, and communications workflows.
    • Oversee centralized operations across domestic and international applicant pipelines, ensuring compliance with institutional and federal guidelines.
    • Ensure efficient processing of application materials, transcripts, test scores, and transfer credit evaluations.
  • Technology & Systems
    • Oversee the administration and optimization of the institution’s CRM (e.g., Slate Technolutions)
    • Partner with campus partners to maintain data integrity, develop reporting tools, and support strategic enrollment analysis.
    • Identify and implement automation and integration opportunities to improve processing speed and accuracy.
  • Partnership Development and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Ensure enrollment practices are compliant with institutional policies, FERPA, and accreditation standards.
    • Oversee the preparation and delivery of regular reports and dashboards to senior leadership, tracking application volume, processing benchmarks, and conversion rates.

Financial Measures

  • Oversight of the Enrollment Operations budgets.

Supervision

  • Supervises & leads several teams, including undergraduate & graduate operations teams, CRM administration team, and transfer articulation team.

Miscellaneous

  • Some evening and weekend hours are required.
