Job description

RQ11293 - Software Developer - Senior

Duration: 7 months (144 days) + possible extension

CRJMC clearance

Location: 222 Jarvis St, Toronto OR 49 Place d'Armes, Kingston

Must Have:

· Experience with relational database technologies (MS SQL 2019 and later), data modelling, T-SQL, stored procedures, tables/views, query optimization

· 3+ years experience with development of Azure Cloud services including API Management, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Entra ID.

· 5+years experience with Git (GitHub, DevOps) and issue tracking systems.

· 3+ years experience building CI/CD DevSecOps pipelines in DevOps including GitHub, Testing tools, Automated deployment, automated security scanning, and dependency scanning.

· Experience with the privacy and security requirements or software development in a health context, or equivalent.

· Demonstrated experience with data querying (SQL), data integration (ETL/ELT), and supporting analytics/reporting solutions in an enterprise environment

NOTE:

Assignment Type: This position is listed as Onsite; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location.

Extension/Amendment Attestation:

Extensions are permitted only to the extent of unused contract days and/or remaining contract funds. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value, including any extension options set out in the original SOW.

Deliverable

· Ensure Accessibility standards are met (AODA).

· Developing and maintaining system design models, program codes, technical documentation, and specifications.

· Ensure development of application solution is implemented and in accordance with the business requirements.

· Designing, developing and implementing web applications that work across modern browsers and various platforms and mobile devices.

· Conducting research and assessment of options for technical design issues.

· Contributing to design/development project plans, including work breakdown and resources estimates.

· Assist with data validation testing.

· Assist and ensure unit testing meets expected functionality requirements.

· Support User acceptance testing, defect management, resolution.

· Ensuring compliance with architecture framework and system standards, and Agile Development Methodology.

· Leading-edge technologies, design criteria including usability, security, and privacy for web and mobile applications.

· Knowledge transfer and create documentation as prescribed by the Project Manager and Manager.
