Job description

Job Overview

Support the delivery of Fair Market Value (FMV) assessments of services and data purchased by life sciences companies from the distribution channels ("Channel Partner FMV"). Senior consultants will contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of FMV assessments and related consulting projects. This role is responsible for completing components of projects or leading smaller engagements, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery for clients in the life sciences field.

Senior Consultants apply knowledge of life sciences distribution and valuation methodologies, collaborate with internal teams and clients, and contribute to proposal development and ongoing client relationships. The role also supports identification of new business opportunities and continued development of subject matter expertise in FMV.

Essential Functions

  • Apply knowledge of Channel Partner FMV concepts, methodologies, and compliance considerations to support end-to-end project delivery.

  • Participate in or lead components of consulting engagements focused on FMV analysis for channel partner arrangements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives.

  • Review and analyze client requirements or challenges and contribute to development of cost-effective solutions and supporting proposals.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to support FMV assessments, including data review, benchmarking, and documentation of assumptions and methodologies.

  • Develop detailed documentation, models, and specifications to support analyses and project outputs.

  • Design, structure, and develop client-ready reports and presentations tailored to the audience; may deliver portions of findings to clients.

  • Provide direction and day-to-day guidance to Analysts and Consultants, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members.

  • When acting as a project manager for smaller engagements or workstreams, manage timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day communication with clients and internal teams.

  • Recommend improvements and alternative approaches to address client needs and resolve challenges.

  • Support identification of follow-on work and new business opportunities within existing client engagements.

  • Participate in proposal development, including contributing content, approach, and scope refinement.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to support engagement delivery and ensure satisfaction with deliverables.

  • Continue to build subject matter expertise in Channel Partner FMV through project experience, training, and participation in knowledge-sharing forums.

  • Contribute to team capability development by sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (e.g., MBA or related field) preferred.

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in consulting and/or the life sciences industry, with exposure to valuation, FMV, or market access topics preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Channel Partner FMV concepts, methodologies, and compliance considerations; experience applying valuation frameworks preferred.

  • Demonstrates strong project management, client influencing, and relationship-building skills.

  • Works effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals.

  • Experience supporting the development of consultative relationships with mid- to senior-level client stakeholders within the life sciences industry.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams or projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver on tight timelines.

  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and analytical techniques relevant to FMV and/or the broader functional area.

  • Understanding of key issues and current developments in the life sciences industry, particularly related to compliance and commercial models.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with ability to translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences; may present portions of findings to clients.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for follow-on work and contribute to business development efforts.

  • Builds and maintains a professional network, with early-stage referral or relationship development.

  • Developing subject matter expertise within the FMV/Channel Partner domain and ability to manage projects within a defined CoE.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $95,700.00 - $239,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
