Job description

Telecommuting:
This job is to be performed onsite at the reporting location(s) below, Monday-Friday, during business hours. Flexibility for occasional remote work for specific reasons is at the discretion of the hiring manager.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of IT work experience utilizing data management tools, business intelligence tools, and data warehousing. Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake is preferred.
Primary Job Duties/ Tasks
1.Strong Data Integration and Data Warehousing experience with Informatica IDMC tools (IDMC tools like IDMC CDI, MI, CAI, etc.,)
2.Strong Experience with Data Integration tasks like extraction, transformation, and load (ETL or ELT) tasks
3.Experience administering IDMC platform, Secure Agent Infrastructure and Snowflake Data Cloud platform for statewide adoption
4.Knowledge of and skill in relational database platforms including DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake and Oracle
5.Analyzes transactional data stores and develops data warehouse models to optimize the warehouse for reporting and analytics.
6.Experience with Redhat Linux application administration like security patching applications, managing disk filesystems, managing wrapper and auto-startup scripts.
7.Strong Experience with IDMC Connectors to perform Change Data Capture solutions like PowerExchange and other widely used connectors like relational, ServiceNow, etc.,
8.Assists with the development and maintenance of methods and practices documentation.
9.Experience with IBM Mainframes COBOL, JCL, and DB2 analysis.
Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1.Experience designing data models for Business Intelligence tools like Power BI and Cognos.
2.Experience with Informatica on-premises products like PowerCenter and Data Quality.
3.Strong development experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
4.Prototypes, builds and tests Power BI and Cognos reports/dashboards.
5.Experience with IDMC Cloud Administration and Snowflake Data Cloud Administration.
6.Ensures data warehouse metadata is collected and maintained.
7.Experience with Informatica IDMC Cloud Performance Tuning
8.Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud Performance Tuning
