Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Data & Interoperability team within Digital Transformation and Innovation is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to help improve how clinical information is used across the organization during our MEDITECH Expanse implementation and the company’s going Digital Transformation initiative.

In this role, you will help ensure that clinical data is accurate, meaningful, and easy to use for care teams, operational leaders, quality programs, and analytics initiatives. You'll serve as a bridge between clinical practice and data, helping translate real-world workflows into trusted information that supports decision-making, reporting, and patient care improvement.

The ideal candidate combines a strong healthcare background with an interest in data, quality improvement, and healthcare technology. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with clinicians, operational leaders, analysts, and technology teams to improve the value and usability of healthcare data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on MEDITECH Expanse clinical workflows and documentation practices.
  • Partner with clinicians, operational leaders, and project teams to ensure clinical data accurately reflects patient care and business needs.
  • Help improve the quality, consistency, and usability of healthcare data used for reporting, analytics, regulatory requirements, and operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for workflow improvement and data standardization.
  • Apply knowledge of healthcare documentation, coding systems, and terminology to support data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Participate in validation, testing, and ongoing improvement efforts for reports, dashboards, and data-driven solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams, helping ensure solutions align with clinical workflows and organizational goals.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of healthcare experience required.
  • Clinical, Health Information Management (HIM), revenue cycle, quality, informatics, or related healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or health system environment preferred.
  • Experience analyzing clinical workflows, quality measures, operational processes, or healthcare data preferred.
  • Experience supporting, implementing, optimizing, or maintaining an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system such as MEDITECH, Epic, or Oracle Health (Cerner) preferred
  • Hands-on experience with clinical terminologies (LOINC, ICD-9/10, SNOMED CT) preferred
  • Interest in healthcare analytics, informatics, data quality, or process improvement strongly preferred.
  • Hybrid position located in Nashville, TN.
