Be Part of Our Village:  

The Care Coordinator supports daily operations of the clinic and is responsible for intake and scheduling for PPT clients across a wide range of services. In this position, you will change the game for children with disabilities and developmental delays by serving as a connection point between families and interdisciplinary team members in an energetic and fun clinic environment.   PPT is looking for a candidate who can understand and problem solve the scheduling process between two different scheduling systems, gather data on key metrics for success, and build strong relationships with providers, clients, families, and future members of the PPT village. The ideal candidate for this position would use warmth, creativity, problem solving, and collaboration to engage with clients, parents/guardians, and service providers. In this position you will have the opportunity to build relationships across Project Play Therapy's team of professionals through regular collaboration and team gatherings, and continue your professional growth through ongoing skills training and mentorship.   • Serve as the initial welcome and point of contact for all new client referrals 
  • Guide potential clients through the intake process via managing communication (phone/email/fax) and track the necessary paperwork
  • Manage schedules for new and existing clients, including initial evaluations and recurring appointments through our EMR systems (Fusion, Central Reach)
  • Compile regular scheduling, space utilization, and staffing reports to inform data-driven decisions
  • Act as on-site point of contact and liaison for facility needs

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer skills including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in medical scheduling and/or customer service preferred
  • Understanding of of Insurance and Medicaid benefits is a plus
  • Work hours are Monday - Friday from 9AM-5:30PM, on site
