Senior Data Governance & Data Management Lead — Asset/Wealth Management

Malvern, PA.

  • Lead data management and data governance processes across the enterprise, establishing standards, policies, and controls that ensure data quality, consistency, and accountability
  • Drive process analysis and redesign efforts, identifying inefficiencies in existing data workflows and re-architecting them to support scalable, governed data operations
  • Own the full end-to-end data management value chain — data sourcing, consumption, data integration, and metadata management — ensuring seamless data flow across systems and stakeholders
  • Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate financial domain requirements (financial profile, advisor teams, securities, holdings, performance, risk) into scalable, well-governed data models and governance frameworks
  • Apply data governance and metadata management best practices (data lineage, data dictionaries, stewardship models, data quality rules) across relational, cloud, and big data environments (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server, AWS/Azure)
  • Ensure data governance practices align with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to financial services (e.g., data privacy, audit trail, reference data integrity)
  • Collaborate with ETL/pipeline and data modeling teams to validate governance controls against source systems and downstream reporting/analytics needs, troubleshooting data quality and lineage issues
  • Bring 8+ years of experience in data management and governance, with demonstrated expertise in investment management, asset/wealth management, or financial services domains
