Job Summary:
IEHP is dedicated to healing and inspiring the human spirit and is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to enhance their data governance framework. This role is crucial in ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance across all business units while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data standards and policies.
Responsibilities:
• Advancing the organization's data governance framework, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance across all business units.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data standards, policies, and procedures that enhance data management and decision-making capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management within the healthcare industry
• Hands-on experience working with Medicaid, Medicare, or other managed care programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
• In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and healthcare data management best practices
• Knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and master data management concepts
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, ICD-10, CPT) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, CMS)
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in data profiling, data quality assessment, and root cause analysis
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention-to-detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects, data input, and strong problem-solving capability
