About the Opportunity

DMI is seeking a Program Manager to serve as the primary contractor point of contact for a federal agency client, coordinating all tasks, deliverables, and personnel across a multi-disciplinary IT support Blanket Purchase Agreement. In this role, you will manage delivery execution, stakeholder communication, and risk management across concurrent task orders spanning network engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, and application development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between DMI and the government client, reporting program performance and delivery status to the COR and executive leadership on a regular cadence 
  • Lead project initiation and planning across all active task orders, translating business and technical requirements into implementation plans with defined schedules and milestones 
  • Manage contractor resources and labor across all task orders, assigning work based on skill and availability while forecasting burn rate and monitoring budget consumption 
  • Oversee daily execution and deliverable quality, ensuring all submissions meet contractual requirements and client standards before delivery 
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain a risk register and escalate unresolved issues with recommended courses of action 
  • Prepare and present program status briefings and PMR materials; develop and maintain task proposals, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures 
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred 
  • 5+ years of program management experience on federal IT contracts 
  • US. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required 
  • Experience defining requirements and preparing task proposals, including budget and schedule development 
  • Experience developing policies, procedures, and work instructions 
  • Experience with project management tools 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior government executives 
  • Working knowledge of IT and cybersecurity capabilities 
  • PMP certification, or 10+ years of demonstrated program management experience in lieu of certification 

Required Skills & Certifications: 

  • Experience managing BPA or IDIQ task order vehicles in a federal environment
  • Proficiency with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project or Jira

Clearance Requirements: Must possess or be eligible to obtain and complete a government security screening and/or a Secret security clearance.

  • Public Trust Tier 2 clearance required.
