Job description

Senior Cost Accountant

We seek a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join a dynamic global finance team in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement presentation, focusing on Supply Chain accounting.
  • Partner with the Purchasing function to forecast demand and process site-based purchase orders.
  • Drive improvement in financial operation metrics, with a focus on Inventory Months‑On‑Hand.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain the internal control framework.
  • Conduct Balance Sheet and Gross Margin variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with auditors for quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Extremely detail‑oriented with strong reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, independent yet collaborative team player, eager to learn.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay Range: $85,000 to $105,000 annualized. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors.
