Position Descriptionย 

The Senior Coordinator will serve as a primary collaborator within the Consumer Products department, focusing on the day-to-day relationship with Nike. This role is pivotal in disseminating and aligning the plans and executions developed in partnership with Nike. This position also provides cross-functional support on Nike-related projects across other departments. A key function of this role will be to connect CP and Nike initiatives with other critical departments, including Sporting, MarComms, Partnership Marketing, Media, Soccer Forward and others, ensuring seamless integration.ย 


This role requires high-level organizational skills, the ability to draft assertive and effective meeting recaps, and the discipline to manage follow-ups and action items. The Senior Coordinator will help manage cross-functional workflows, track deliverables, and ensure alignment across internal stakeholders and Nike partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partnership Planning & Execution: Support the planning and execution of Nike partnership initiatives, including proactive meeting coordination, creation of effective recaps, and diligent action-item tracking to ensure progress.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Serve as a bridge between Consumer Products, Nike, and internal departments-such as Sporting, MarComms, PM, Media and Soccer Forward-to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on shared goals and project timelines.
  • Sporting Project Management: Contribute to Nike-related projects by connecting efforts across Sporting and High-Performance teams, ensuring that partnership initiatives translate effectively into operational success.
  • Centralized Tracking & Reporting: Develop and maintain a centralized tracker for all partnership initiatives, ensuring full visibility into timelines, deliverables, and ownership status.
  • Departmental Roadmap Support: Work in close alignment with the Senior Director to build and maintain a clear, comprehensive roadmap of all existing and upcoming actions related to the Nike partnership.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive partnership information and strategic discussions with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Administrative Partnership Support: Provide specialized support to the Nike Partnership unit, including managing communications, document preparation, meeting and travel schedules and assisting with the organization of partnership-related events or presentations.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sports Marketing, project coordination, or executive administration.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining composure and accuracy.
  • General knowledge of the soccer landscape across all levels (youth, professional, recreational, and community).
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to connect "micro" details to the "macro" vision and strategic mission.
