Dematic has an immediate need for an Electrical Controls Applications Engineer in our Customer Service Modernizations & Upgrades group. Candidates can have up to 5 years of experience in related field. Qualified candidates are proficient in performing basic tasks and be able to take direction from senior engineers. Employees can be based anywhere in the continental USA, however, must be willing to travel up to 40-50% to customer locations in the USA.We offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $64,000 - $116,400 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Performs basic tasks and functions for professional field of work.
  • Seeks advice and guidance on nonroutine or problem areas from others.
  • Identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.
  • Communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
  • General understanding of project execution and deliverables; Scope, Schedule, Budget.
  • Assists in the design of routine systems that integrate hardware and software.
  • Ability to learn and show proficiency with Dematic systems, e.g., CAD, SAP, Travel, and other applications.
  • Provides assistance in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer satisfaction.
  • Aids in the start-up, commissioning, and testing of material handling systems.
  • Assist with software PLC emulation and testing of material handling systems.
  • Ability to locate and follow Standard Work Practices and procedures.
  • Typically, BS/BA Under-Grad in Engineering or Administration.
