Location: Rochester, NY
Salary: $125,000 – $145,000 + Discretionary Bonus (10%) + Benefits

Senior Controls Engineer – PLC/HMI Description

Our client in the industrial automation and process systems industry is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to add to their team. In this role, you will lead full project lifecycles for industrial automation and process control systems. Senior Controls Engineer – PLC/HMI Responsibilities

•    Develop automation and control system architecture diagrams
•    Design electrical control panels and create schematic drawings using AutoCAD

•    Develop PLC I/O assignments and program using Allen-Bradley Logix platforms
•    Develop HMI/SCADA applications using industry-standard platforms
•    Design industrial communication networks and supporting data infrastructure
•    Support new/existing client systems and participate in onsite commissioning/startup activities
•    Train client operations and maintenance teams on equipment and control system functionality
