Job description

A well-established systems integrator for industrial automation and process control solutions is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA. They support clients with turnkey control systems and variable speed drive designs, as well as industrial robotics applications - from concept through install - and provide long-term lifecycle support to customers across petrochemical, water/wastewater, raw materials, and food & beverage industrial environments.
What You'll Do
  • Design and implement industrial control systems and process automation solutions
  • Integrate PLC/HMI/SCADA systems for new builds, expansions, and retrofit projects
  • Support control panel design, programming, testing, installation, and commissioning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in the field and remotely
  • Collaborate with engineering staff, project managers, and operations teams to ensure high quality execution and successful start-up

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of experience with electrical engineering and control systems design
  • Hands-on expertise in Rockwell Automation platforms (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, etc.)
  • Experience with Aveva / Wonderware / Indusoft
  • Excellent troubleshooting capability in industrial environments
  • Prior experience supporting heavy industrial or manufacturing sectors is preferred
