Job Description:
JOB POSTING
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to work closely with our Parsons Project Managers and client Contracts team to support facilities construction projects in support of the Department of Labor Job Corps Program.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist to prepare and review pre-solicitation correspondence such as Sources Sought packages, Scopes of Work, and Acquisition Packages for engineering and construction projects to ensure compliance with client and contract requirements.
  • Assist to prepare and review post-award correspondence including contractor Pay Applications, Requests for Change packages, review of contractor deliverables, Substantial and Final Completion Packages to ensure compliance with client and contract requirements.
  • Monitors contracts expirations and takes appropriate action working with the project manager and client Contracts team to draft contract extension packages as required.
  • Assists project manager and client Contracts team to draft correspondence to contractors including Letters of Concern and Cure Notices.
  • Tracks contract deliverables and works with the project manager to ensure that contractors comply with these contract requirements.
  • Identifies contractual problems and advises appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory resolution. Follows up on problems demanding management attention to ensure a timely response to the client.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Coordinates closely on a frequent basis with the client contracts team to ensure that their intent and needs are being met.

What Required Education, Experience, and Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is required.
  • At least 10 years of prime contract administration experience is required.
  • Requires a working knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts. Incumbent must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
