This opportunity entails being responsible for facilitating and managing a portfolio of contracts to address a variety of design, construction, remediation, replacement and improvement projects. Will work with local transit clients in a program management capacity developing project scopes, cost estimates, schedules and contractual terms and conditions to promote fair and open competition. Ensures contract compliance, specifically that the contracts rights, remedies, obligations, assignments and risks are maintained among the contracted parties throughout the life of the project. Responsible for managing contract or task assignments, properly identifying, vetting, and advancing potential changes, and ensuring compliance with the contract requirements in support of the project scope of work and objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluates, develops, and facilitates competitive solicitations to adhere to client schedule requirements in partnership with client staff. Ensures that all work is recorded, tracked and follows internal quality standards.
  • Administers contracts, ensuring that the client receives the specified services and/or materials in accordance with the contract terms and within budget and the schedule using the agreed upon methods for delivery.
  • Reviews contract language to ensure that the contracted for services or products received meet defined quality standards.
  • Manages scope, schedule, and budget requests for information or modification while serving as the primary client liaison for contract terms, scope, schedule, and/or budget changes, as needed.
  • Coordinates work with various internal consultant team members including Task Leads, Cost Estimating, Scheduling, DBE/Subcontractor Specialist, and other Subject Matter Experts.
  • Follows established processes and procedures for procurement of goods and services, monitoring post-award performance of successful vendor.
  • Updates and inputs tracking logs and analytical reports on a regular basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Financeorrelevant degree
  • 5years relevant experience; procurement, professional services, contract administration

What We Prefer:

  • Experience in Design Build and other Alternative Delivery Methods of procurement and professional services architect and engineering contracts.
  • Advanced degree.
  • 5 years' experience in procurement managerial role handling muti-million-dollar contract/procurements.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of senior and executive management, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with DART procurement regulations, FTA third party contracting, and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contracts for compliance, interpret and negotiate contract terms and conditions, prepare contract modifications, and administer closeout contractual vehicles.
