Senior Community Manager | Multi-Site PortfolioAbout the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Community Manager to oversee a portfolio of 11 market-rate apartment communities totaling 234 units. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring teams, and takes pride in delivering exceptional operational and financial results.

The Senior Community Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the portfolio while partnering closely with ownership to maximize occupancy, resident satisfaction, and property performance.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of 11 market-rate apartment communities totaling 234 units.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team consisting of one Property Manager, one Leasing Consultant, and three Maintenance Technicians.
  • Drive occupancy through leasing, resident retention, and exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets while monitoring financial performance and controlling expenses.
  • Review financial reports, collections, delinquency, and monthly operating statements to ensure portfolio performance.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal, asset quality, and company standards.
  • Oversee maintenance operations, capital improvement projects, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure all communities remain compliant with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
  • Utilize AppFolio to manage leasing activity, resident accounts, work orders, financial reporting, and daily property operations.
  • Resolve resident concerns professionally while maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Partner with ownership to develop operational strategies that improve performance and maximize NOI.
  • Travel between communities as needed to provide leadership and operational support.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of Property Management experience, preferably overseeing multiple communities.
  • Previous leadership experience managing office and maintenance teams.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, financial reporting, occupancy, collections, and resident relations.
  • AppFolio experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple communities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
