These engineers often work with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and may lead teams or projects to migrate, maintain, or scale cloud environments. Their expertise includes automation, networking, and troubleshooting complex cloud issues. In addition, they collaborate closely with other IT teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior cloud engineer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Senior Cloud Engineer, you need deep expertise in cloud architecture, networking, security, and automation, typically supported by a degree in computer science or a related field and several years of industry experience.
